Gendering Green Generation projects
A team consisting of several permanent researchers, affiliates and doctoral students from Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) has secured a highly competitive research grant from the International Development Research Centre (IDRC). The grant-winning project is titled « Genderizing Generation Green Projects (3G): Reducing Gender Inequalities and Increasing Women’s Share in Development Project Benefits in the Rehamna Province ».
The overall objective of this project is to conduct a diagnosis, as well as strategy experiments aimed at reducing gender inequalities as a barrier preventing women from increasing their share in the benefits generated by development projects funded under the « Green Generation » Program in the Rehamna province. The Project’s execution period is 4 years, spanning from September 2022 to August 2026.
