Gendering Green Generation projects
The Center for Agricultural Innovation and Technology Transfer (AITTC) has secured funding for the implementation of the «Genderizing Generation Green Projects (3G): Reducing Gender Inequalities and Increasing Women’s Participation in Development Project Benefits in the Rehamna Region», led by researchers from the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University. This Project officially started off on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022, at UM6P with a launch ceremony.
The grant received is provided by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P).
The overarching objective of this project is to conduct a diagnostic assessment and pilot a number of innovative interventions aimed at reducing gender inequalities as a barrier preventing women from increasing their share in the benefits generated by development projects funded under the « Generation Green» Program in the Rehamna province. The project is to be implemented over a period of 4 years, spanning from September 2022 to August 2026.
